I made my first commercial when I was in the fourth grade. Naturally, I was the star.
The brief intro screen is intentional for dramatic pause.
Born and raised in the Midwest, but a longtime resident of New York, Rachel still has a healthy dose of “Midwest nice” in her—so much so that she’s known to apologize profusely as she shoves her way onto the subway. She has an eye for detail, obsessive work ethic and a laugh so loud you can hear it five miles away if the wind is just right.
For over a decade, she has worked at agencies both small and large—including a long stint at BBDO NY and her present home at Droga5—and has made work for a wide range of clients including Virgin Mobile, Prudential Insurance, Pepsi, Starbucks, Microsoft, Chase Bank, Dubai Tourism, and Lowe’s, among others.
In addition to working full time as a Creative Director at Droga5, she’s an instructor at the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in NYC and a member of the 2019 Grand Jury for the New York Festival. One of the accomplishments she's most proud of is her role as co-creator and director of D5in10 Academy—a free, educational course at Droga5 created to invest in the future of diversity within our industry.
